USE: Road Racing / Cyclosport / Triathlon Resin Transfer Molding RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology combines the use of tubular woven braids (layers) of carbon with pressure injection of the resin into the mold. From spools of carbon fiber, TIME weaves tubular braids to precise specifications fully controlled by TIME. These braids are then arranged in specific orientations on a steel mandrel or wax form that determines the precise internal geometry of the part. This is then placed in a closed mold that is then placed in an injection press. Resin is then injected directly into the mold to polymerize the product. TIME is the only company in the cycling industry currently using RTM technology. With RTM technology, TIME has earned the reputation of expertise in carbon! - Sloping geometry 6 sizes

| RTM (RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING) TIME is the only manufacturer in the bicycle industry to possess total expertise in this carbon manufacturing technique. RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology combines the use of tubular woven braids (layers) of carbon with pressure injection of the resin into the mold. RTM technology combines total freedom of shape with quality and consistency in production. The epoxy resin, tubular woven braids and integrated inserts all bond together in a closed, pressure-injection mold to make the finished piece totally homogeneous. Proper selection and positioning of the fibers to obtain the desired characteristics, combined with the unity of the finished piece, make RTM a race-winning technology. RTM, the avantages : - Total freedom of molded shape - The resin penetrates very deeply into the fiber layers for total impregnation, resulting in a bond between layers that is very strong, with maximum cohesion of the fibers. - Each zone of a part can be designed to deliver specific mechanical characteristics, with no restrictions or compromises. - Total control of geometry and thickness, resulting in parts which have precise, uniform geometry and thicknesses The mechanical specifications and characteristics of parts can be identical in mass production.
