All of our custom wheels are tensioned by our team of wheel smiths that have more than 40 years experience between them.

Front Disc Wheels are laced and built in 3-cross with forward directional spokes to withstand the stress of heavy disc breaking this is our default build.

Radial Laced this builds a very light wheel but it is not the strongest wheel set please only select this option if the main reason for buying a new set of wheels is weight saving

4 Cross this build a heavier wheel but nearly indestructible if you are used to bending rims in to the shape of a pringle then this is the lacing for you please note that it will put a bit more weight on to the wheel. It is only available in 36 hole rims

Choosing Rims

Rims vary in width, weight and strength. If you need help in picking the right width for your style of riding please just ask.

Choosing Spokes

Spokes differ in weight and thickness. Choose spokes to suit the strength/weight you require.

Plain Gauge 2mm– Plain Gauge spoke 2mm thickness. Strong and reliable spoke

DB 2mm-1.8mm – Double Butted spoke 2mm at each end and 1.8mm at the middle. Lighter than the Plain Gauge but with

similar strength.

DB Revolution 2mm – 1.5mm – Double butted super light spoke. 1.5mm in the middle and should only be used on light weight

Choosing Nipples

If you don’t choose a nipple upgrade your wheels will be built with DT brass nipples. High quality and strong.

DT Brass Pro-lock – Super strong brass nipple with locking compound to reduce spoke loosening.

Please Note that Alloy coloured Nipples will not build as strong a wheel as the nipples above but if you are unsure again please just ask.
