The Record 11-Speed rear derailleur is provided with an carbon fibre outer plate which increases rigidity by 150%

The pulleys are fitted on an aluminium and carbon cage and turn on ceramic bearings.

This is the fulcrum of the 11-speed systems. The 11-speed rear derailleur has a forged aluminium upper body which works on an enveloping and oversized carbon fibre outer plate. The new form confers torsional rigidity which is 150% greater than the old design and contributes to the construction of a parallelogram with absolute operating precision. The cage pulleys are now made of a lighter material and reduce vibrations.
